Welcome

I spent the past 28 years in the process control and factory automation industry. Essentially, I grew up in this industry and observed or been apart of many significant changes over the years. But I view today's opportunities as the most exciting times that I can recall.

Ah!, but hold on to your marketing hats - if quality was the mantra of the 80's and re-engineering the business term for the 90's than velocity is key for the 21st century.

I am convinced that sustainable industrial growth comes through ample use of technology . The rewards still go to the alert business and marketing "dude" able to marshall assets to out-market the competitors and claim undisputed leadership.

This blog and its content is meant to flush out ideas. To advance the learning curve, and stimulate the debate necessary to generate a better understanding of the options that deliver the best solution for the customer.

Let the process begin...
